Refund Policy

Overview

This policy covers all purchases made in connection with The Attaché. The app itself is free — there are no in-app purchases.

1. Membership

Membership is a monthly subscription sold through Stripe, outside the app.

• You may cancel at any time through the link in your Stripe receipt or by emailing info@theattacheja.com.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Access continues until then.
• The current period is not refunded. There are no mid-cycle refunds for membership.

2. Professional services

Professional services include trust creation, consultations, business registration coordination, utility connections, and similar coordination work.

• Before work begins: full refund, no questions asked.
• After work begins — meaning we have engaged an attorney, filed a document, or commenced coordination — fees are non-refundable. The cost has been incurred on your behalf.

"Work has begun" means we have taken an action on your behalf, not merely received your request.

3. Consultations

Paid consultations are non-refundable once the session has started. If you need to reschedule, contact us at least 24 hours before your scheduled time and we will accommodate you.

4. Government fees

Government fees paid on your behalf — filing fees, stamp duty, registration fees — are never refundable by us. We do not control government agencies and cannot recover fees once submitted. You will be advised of all government fees before we submit anything.

5. How to request a refund

Email info@theattacheja.com with:

• Your account email address
• What you are requesting a refund for
• The date of the charge (and Stripe payment reference if you have it)

We aim to respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
