Please read these terms carefully before using The Attaché.
By downloading, installing, or using The Attaché application or website at theattacheja.com (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and NoProblem LLC (operating as The Attaché), a Wyoming Limited Liability Company ("Company", "we", "us", "our").
The Attaché is a mobile application and web platform that provides information, guidance, tools, and concierge services to individuals seeking to live, work, or do business in Jamaica. The Service includes government service guides, an intelligence map, an AI-powered concierge, an application tracker, community features, and optional concierge handling services.
To access the full Service you must create an account. You must be at least 18 years of age to register, unless you are applying for a Youth Free account as an enrolled Jamaican student under 18 with parental consent and verified proof of enrollment.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update your information to keep it accurate. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false information, violate these Terms, or engage in abuse of the Service.
The Attaché offers the following membership plans:
Subscription fees are billed monthly in advance through PayPal. By subscribing you authorise recurring charges until you cancel. All fees are in US dollars unless otherwise stated.
Subscription fees are non-refundable except within 5 calendar days of your first payment for a particular subscription tier. After this 5-day window, no refunds are issued for the current billing period.
If you cancel your subscription, you will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period.
Refund requests must be submitted to support@theattacheja.com within the applicable window with your account email and transaction reference.
If you upgrade or downgrade your subscription plan during a billing cycle, the change takes effect immediately. Upgrades result in a prorated charge for the remaining days of the current cycle at the new plan rate. Downgrades result in a prorated credit applied toward your next billing cycle. These calculations are performed automatically at checkout.
The Attaché is not a government agency, government agent, law firm, or official representative of any government entity including but not limited to PICA, TAJ, COJ, NHT, NIS, or the Government of Jamaica.
Government service guides provided through the Service are for informational purposes only and do not constitute legal advice. Government fees, requirements, and processing times are subject to change without notice. We make reasonable efforts to keep information current but cannot guarantee accuracy at all times.
When The Attaché handles government applications on your behalf as a concierge service, we act as your authorised agent. We are not responsible for government delays, rejections, or policy changes beyond our control.
The crime and community reporting feature allows users to submit reports for informational purposes only. Reports submitted are not verified, do not constitute official crime reports, and are not shared with law enforcement unless required by law.
The Attaché accepts no liability for the accuracy, completeness, or consequences of submitted reports. For emergencies, contact the Jamaica Constabulary Force directly at 119.
The Attaché provides a marketplace platform for users to list businesses for sale. We do not verify the accuracy of financial claims, business valuations, legal status, or any other representations made by sellers. Buyers and sellers are solely responsible for their own due diligence, legal review, and transaction execution.
The Attaché is not a party to any transaction between buyers and sellers and accepts no liability for any losses arising from marketplace transactions.
Contributions to the Policy Change Fund are voluntary. They are non-refundable and non-tax-deductible. Contributions support community advocacy campaigns and do not constitute charitable donations, investments, or entitlements to any financial return or specific outcome.
The AI concierge feature is powered by Anthropic's Claude AI models. AI responses are for informational purposes only and do not constitute legal, financial, medical, or professional advice. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of AI-generated responses.
Monthly AI message limits apply per subscription tier. Unused messages do not roll over to the following month.
You agree not to use the Service to:
All content, trademarks, logos, and intellectual property in the Service are owned by or licensed to NoProblem LLC You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
User-submitted content (reports, community posts, service requests) remains your property. By submitting content you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display, and distribute it within the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, NoProblem LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of your use of or inability to use the Service.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NoProblem LLC from any claims, losses, damages, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, with or without notice. You may cancel your account at any time through the app settings.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes through the app. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
